The new Germanwings app is here! Discover our new functions and services giving you more flexibility and comfort when planning your trips on the move.
Use the practical link to Passbook or get information on your upcoming flights and flights you are following on your personalised homepage. Handy links take you straight to check-in, boarding passes, flight status, flight booking, services and much more. The new app allows you to plan, book and manage flights and extra services all on your mobile.

We are delighted to offer you comprehensive services and new features on Germanwings iPhone app:

Flight monitor
This function allows you to have your booking, your flight status and flight readily available. You can also follow flights and will receive reminders on any changes, such as gate changes. Its also easy to access the check-in function and book additional services.

Passbook integration
If you have iPhone with iOS 6 or later, you can store and manage your boarding passes in one place in Passbook.

Push function
If you log in via your Germanwings account, you will receive push reminders with up-to-date information on your flights, when you can check in, any changes to your flight times or to your departure gate. Make sure that in your iPhone settings you have activated your location services and message settings.

Data export to local calendar
You can now export all your booking details to a local calendar to have all information on your flight visible on each respective date.

Boarding passes
You can check in with the Germanwings app 72 hours before departure. You can store your boarding pass on your smartphone or call it up offline.

My Germanwings log-in
You can use your stored personal details to deal with your upcoming flights even more quickly.

Add extra services
Up to 30 minutes before departure you can book further items of checked luggage or choose a seat, as long as you havent yet checked in. Save a considerable amount by booking extras before you arrive at the airport!

Rebooking
Its quick and easy to change your booking up to 30 minutes before departure on your mobile. With our new fare structure you enjoy even more flexibility when planning a trip.

Collect miles
You also collect miles with our frequent-flyer programme, the Boomerang Club, or Miles and More if you book a flight on your mobile.
